Fierce Vulnerability: Two Hands of Nonviolence

Fierce Vulnerability: Two Hands of Nonviolence

Marcie Rubardt on Dec. 29, 2019 explores at PSZC what it means to act from a firm and “fierce” commitment to STOP what is wrong while simultaneously recognizing our common humanity and connection, and the vulnerability that comes with that. How do we find ways to be firm and take action to disrupt a system that is immoral while remaining in a space of love and compassion? Marcie is an active member in the Vashon Insight Meditation/Vipassana community that sits at the Havurat on Tuesday nights. (NOTE: Due to an equipment problem, Marcie’s talk ends after 11 minutes.)
