Book Discussion – My Grandmother’s Hands, by Resmaa Menakem

August 4, 2020 @ 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm

|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every 2 weeks that begins at 4:00 pm on Tuesday, repeating until August 19, 2020

Tuesday afternoon 4 – 5:30pm, every other week: August 4 & 18
In this peer-facilitated discussion group, we explore the suffering caused by racism, and how our Buddhist practice intersects with the work for Black lives and racial equity. Resmaa Menakim’s book offers a body-centered approach to addressing white supremacy and racial healing. His book is on back order, though you can get it immediately as an e-book or audiobook.  If you’d like to join this group, email programs@pszc.org.
