Join us at the Blue Heron Zen Center for a day of quiet on Saturday, 19 September, lead by Koshin Cain.
Our day of silent practice in the Rinzai tradition will include sitting and walking meditation, a dharma talk, dokusan (interview with the teacher), and silent work and movement practice. Please note the date change (formerly September 12) and the new venue, the Blue Heron Zen Center, located at 10303 Densmore Ave N. in Seattle. The Blue Heron Zen Community has kindly allowed PSZC to use their zendo and facilities for this day-sit.
Bring a sack lunch as no meals will be served. Drinks and snacks will be provided throughout the day, and after closing, there will be a short social time with refreshments.
The schedule will run from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, with a social hour to follow. There will be an orientation for those new to extended sitting at 8:30 am.
Please contact the registrar (registrar@pszc.org) with any questions or concerns.
