Our Summer Day-Sit will take place on Saturday, June 20th, 2026, at the Puget Sound Zen Center on Vashon Island. A day of silent practice (from 8:30am – 5:15 pm) in the Rinzai Zen tradition will include
zazen (seated meditation), kinhin (walking meditation), chanting, a dharma talk and teacher interviews (dokusan), as well as qi gong and samu (work practice). A simple vegetarian lunch will be served, along with drinks and snacks. Please contact registrar@pszc.org with any questions or concerns, or if you have not previously sat a day-sit. Also, two half-fee scholarships are available for those in need; please contact the registrar to inquire.
