The Four Noble Truths in Light of the Present Moment
Mushin Abby Terris began Zen practice in 1975 with Seattle Zen Center. She was named a Dharma Holder by Chozen Bays, Roshi in 2004, completed Sanghakai training in 2009, and in 2013 received Sangha Transmission from Chozen Bays, Roshi, becoming a Lay Teacher. Abby has led the Corvallis Zen Circle since its establishment in 1992. This group has grown to be a thriving center of Zen effort and realization in the mid-Willamette Valley. It is affiliated with the Zen Community of Oregon, Great Vow Zen Monastery, and Heart of Wisdom Zen Temple.
