Zen at Work

Every six months we switch officer positions in the zendo – the Shoji (tea server), the Jiki (meditation leader) and so forth.  Together they are responsible for the form of our service.  What’s the background on these positions, why do they matter, and why do we switch them as often as we do? And beyond that, what does this form matter?

Koshin speaks at the Zen Center Sept. 22, 2019.
