Please join us for a day of reflection and writing guided by accomplished poet, novelist, and writing teacher Chris Robinson and featuring a talk by guest speaker Amanda Knox. We will write and share stories as we explore those Aha! moments in life that teach, guide and illuminate our practice. 

Schedule for the day

10:00 to 10:15        Welcome and introductions by Diane

10:15 to 10:20         Writing goals introduced by Chris

10:20 to 10:30        An Aha! story from Amanda

10:30 to 11:00         Writing tools (narrative arc, etc) explained by Chris

11:00 to 12:00         Phase 1 Brainstorming in groups of 4

12:00 to 12:30         Lunch on your own

12:30 to 1:30          Phase 2: Writing individually

1:30 to 2:30         Phase 3:  Editing and revision in groups of 2

2:30 to 3:30         Phase 4: Story sharing with whole group

3:30 to 4:00         Reflection and closing

Writing materials, tea, coffee and refreshments will be provided. Please bring a sack lunch and your own computer if that is your preferred writing instrument.

Cost:                    $55 per person; $50 for PSZC members
