1:00 – 5:00pm Sangha Member Summer Picnic

Members and their families are invited to the Summer Sangha Picnic. This will be a time to come together to share food, conversation with friends, and games. The merchandise table that was at the opening ceremony will also be there—offering tee shirts, caps, mugs, totes, and more.

When – Saturday, September 17th, 1:00-5:00

Where – PSZC zendo—18005 Vashon Hwy, Vashon, WA

What to bring – A dish to share with others, something to grill, if you like, folding chairs or a blanket, frisbees, soccer balls, or games. (Folding chairs could be brought out from the zendo.)

The PSZC Membership Committee will provide lemonade, ice water, and those delicious little mochi ice cream balls that were at the opening ceremony.

In addition to the dish to share, etc, please bring beverages of your choice (soda, beer, wine) in your cooler, and plates and silverware for you to use. We’d like to make this a no-trash event, as much as possible.

If you are coming from off-island and would like to walk on the ferry, please let us know; someone can come pick you up at either the north or south end ferry. Email joycehunziker@msn.com if you would like a ride.

A gas grill will be available for you to use.

Please come for part or all of the time; come to celebrate our new home, the many hours of work that has taken place, and the people who have made this happen. Come for the fun!!
