10am – 12pm Sunday Service: Rev. David Scheuneman: Bodhachitta and the 4 Vows

Our Sunday service consists of chanting, two periods of sitting meditation, and a dharma talk.

Rev. David Scheuneman is an independent minister, meditation teacher and retreat leader.  His background includes graduate theological study and ordination as a Unitarian Universalist minister.  He is primarily a student of Tibetan Mahamudra and Dzogchen, reinforced by Zen and other contemplative traditions.  He is also a trained facilitator of Thomas Keating’s method of Centering Prayer.  He was the first Board President of the Puget Sound Zen Center, from 2002 to 2005.  Since the advent of Covid-19, his “interfaith virtual sangha” has been meeting regularly on Zoom.
