10am – 12pm Sunday Service: Shuko – Tis a Gift: Hands to the Harvest
September 1 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Our Sunday service consists of chanting, two periods of sitting meditation, and a dharma talk. You may join us in person or by Zoom.
You may request the password by emailing pr@pszc.org
In lieu of a dharma talk, Shuko will give a short talk and slideshow about our PSZC food bank garden, and then everyone can (if they wish) join in our GARLIC BEE! All hands to the pump to help clean this year’s garlic harvest and prepare it for winter storage.
Join in the garden work WITHOUT LEAVING THE ZENDO!
The plan is to spread tarps and sit on our cushions or chairs to trim and clean the garlic right in the zendo. The work is not too dirty- you don’t need work clothes. You might want to bring work gloves – up to you.
Learn about our garden, work and chat together, and bring home a couple of heads of beautiful garlic!
