8:30 am – Spring Day Sit – Working with Catastrophes, Real, and Imagined

Please join us for our day-long retreat in the Rinzai tradition, led by Abbot Koshin Chris Cain, at the Fauntleroy Church (9140 California Ave SW, West Seattle).  The day will include seated and walking meditation, chanting, qigong, and a dharma talk on Working with Catastrophes, Real, and Imagined.  

The schedule for the day is as follows:

8:00 am Orientation for new practitioners
8:30 Tea, Zazen
10:00 Dharma Talk, Koshin
10:45 Zazen and Dokusan
12:15 Lunch and break
1:15 Samu Work Practice
1:45 Qi Gong
2:15 Tea; Chanting
3:00 Zazen and Dokusan
4:15. Q and A with Koshin
5:00 Closing
5:30 End

No meals will be served- please bring a sack lunch.
