8am-9:30am Enlightenment Day Ceremony
December 5, 2021 @ 8:00 am - 9:30 am
The Rose Apple Tree
Before the Buddha sat down under the Bodhi Tree, he had a memory of sitting down under another tree as a child. This story tells us something about awakening – that every awakening is a re-awakening.
The Enlightenment Day service will begin at 8am (and end at 9:30) on December 5 with the Enlightenment ceremony, followed by chanting, zazen, and a dharma talk with Koshin.
This special early service replaces the regular Sunday 10am service, which is cancelled. There is an in-person limit of 25.
If you wish to attend in person please email your intention to dharmastudy@pszc.org soon to reserve your spot.
If you have not already done so, please send a photo of your immunization card to Jim Hunziker at jameshunziker@msn.com
You may also join us on Zoom.
