Fall Sesshin – The Bodhisattva Path
October 17, 2019 - October 20, 2019
Dive deep at our three-day Fall sesshin at beautiful Camp Sealth. This will be a formal retreat in the Rinzai tradition: seated and walking meditation, chanting, dharma talks, silent walks through the woods, and optional interviews with our Abbot, Koshin Chris Cain. He will be discussing the Bodhisattva Path.
The four Bodhisattva Vows, chanted in Buddhist centers all over the world, show us the road to a well-rounded practice. It is an impossible path that nevertheless we do our best to take. We will look at the four vows, as well as commentaries from masters on them.
All meals and dormitory-style accommodations included. If you have questions, or if you have not previously attended a multi-day retreat, please contact the registrar at registrar@pszc.org. From out-of-town? The registrar will find you a place to stay the night before if needed.
The retreat will begin at 5pm on Thursday and end at 4pm Sunday. We require a minimum attendance of 2 days with an overnight in between.
Registration is now closed for this retreat. Please contact the registrar with questions at registrar@pszc.org.
