Sunday Service – All Sangha Meeting Afterwards

After a shortened Sunday Service starting at 10A (no dharma talk) we will clean up the cushions etc and get set up for the potluck (11:45A)  We will enjoy the food and each other’s company for 15- 20 minutes and then jump into the main event.

The Abbott and the Board President will open the meeting with a reflection on the state of the sangha. Committee Chairs (Communications, Ethics, Fundraising, Membership, Property, Programs ) will give a short (2-3 minutes) report on the committees’ status and plans. Additionally, the Programs Committee will give a brief overview of the launch of the Spring Intensive Practice Period and the Membership Committee will recognize new members.  There will be a Treasurer’s report.  We plan to be finished by 1:00P.

Whether you’re new to the sangha, or have been attending for a long time, this is a good way to get a feel for how the Zen Center works, and where we’re thinking about going in the future.
