Children’s Program – Right Speech and Lujong this month

All children are welcome to join us for the first children’s program of the new year, this Sunday, Jan 6. Adults and children start the morning together with a brief chanting and tea service. Program teachers and children then head downstairs for a short meditation and activities related to our theme. This Sunday we will introduce exercises from the Tibetan Yogic tradition (lujong), a movement activity designed to synchronize mind and body, and to give the kids a healthy outlet for their energy after sitting quietly in meditation. Our theme this month is “right speech” – how we communicate with others in a kind way. We will do some role-playing and have a discussion about this topic. We hope you can join us.

Afterwards we all get together for a potluck lunch.
